We hand cut, form and polish our disks using 20 gauge 14/20k gold filled double clad sheet.

Gold filled double clad metal means there is a 14k gold layer heat and pressure applied on both sides of the metal. Unlike gold plated metal, the gold won't scratch off or turn colors.
